*NOTE FROM DENISE*: I would like to try using the idea someone in our TDE group has suggested about 'playing through' -- in numeric order -- all these duet books. Beginning with Volume 1, we will play the first three songs. Don't be fooled! There ARE some challenging tunes ahead, even in Volume 1! I added a new tab I tabbed out Bonny Portmore. There is also a seperate tab that has the lyrics for those who want them. I added o a youtube video in the Members Only area in the Audio files of this song being played and sung so you can hear the words along with the melody. This next quarter (July, Aug, Sept) we will be doing Lullabies, Hymns, Show Tunes for our main song lists for the second hour of our gathering.
There was a poster placed for people to vote on the what genres they would like to do during the next few quarters. Here are the results of the voting: TDE Theme List -16 people voted (4 choices each) Waltz 10 Folk Songs 8 Jam Tunes 7 Ballads 7 Spirituals 4 Classical 4 Lullabies 3 Glazener 3 * For songs we have permission to use Seifert JTJ 3 Hymns 2 Show Tunes 2 Joe Collins 1 * For Books we have or songs we have permission for. Larry Conger 1 * for songs we have permission to use Denise Parker will assign the song list themes for the following quarters according to the rating list above. NOTE Some of the lower number requests may not be for a full quarter depending on the number of ALLOWED songs we have permission to use from those Artists or due to copy-right issues (show Tunes). |
